“SAY IT AINT SO JOE”

There is no better system then American Capitalism to lift an average working man and his family. Sometimes along the way, if a man loses his soul to greed, that which lifted him up also takes him down.
Such is the case of Shoeless Joe Jackson and Scrappy Joe Biden.
When Americans elect people to represent them, it is a contract of faith. When Americans watch Baseball, it is not suppose to be a fixed Wrestling match. It is in this contract of faith Americans replenish their souls on concepts of good and bad, or the little guy rising up to be a hero for the country or for a team. When that contract is broken, America looses its innocence, and all our souls are diminished.
So it was back in 1919 when it was proven that Shoeless Joe Jackson was part of a group of gamblers’ greed to fix the World Series.
When Jackson left the criminal court building in the custody of a sheriff after telling his story to the grand jury, he found several hundred youngsters, aged from 6 to 16, waiting for a glimpse of their idol. One child stepped up to the outfielder, and, grabbing his coat sleeve, said:
“It ain’t true, is it, Joe?”
“Yes, kid, I’m afraid it is,” Jackson replied. The boys opened a path for the ball player and stood in silence until he passed out of sight.
“Well, I’d never have thought it,” sighed the lad.
Now America must not turn their heads away from Joe Biden. Although you will lose your innocence about this man who leads his party of Democrats who have allowed greed and lust for power to take their souls, our innocence will be our price to pay and rejecting him will show what the American Soul is all about.
